● main hoist rope for tower crane, crawler crane, mobile crane, gantry crane, truck crane etc.
The 6×36WS-FC is a classic wire rope featuring a Warrington-Seale hybrid construction and a fiber core. Compared to versions with an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC), its key characteristic is the use of a fiber core instead of a steel core; this allows it to achieve superior flexibility while maintaining high strength.
The WS hybrid construction balances wear resistance with excellent flexibility; the line-contact arrangement between wires ensures more uniform stress distribution and significantly enhances wear resistance, while simultaneously eliminating relative sliding between internal wires to provide superior fatigue resistance.
The rope utilizes a fiber core, which acts like a "sponge" for the wire rope—capable of storing a significant amount of lubricant while providing excellent elastic cushioning.
