CSC (Composite Steel Core) structure: This design combines the advantages of fiber cores and steel cores, typically consisting of an inner fiber core (such as sisal or polypropylene/PP) surrounded by outer steel wire strands.
Thanks to its 8-strand configuration and internal fiber core, the wire rope offers excellent flexibility, allowing it to withstand the repeated bending cycles inherent in elevator operations. Additionally, the fiber core acts as an internal cushion and shock absorber, effectively dampening vibrations caused by external impact loads.
The fiber component of the composite core serves as a lubricant reservoir, continuously lubricating the internal steel wires and strands; this reduces internal friction and prevents rust, thereby significantly extending the rope's service life.
