6×19w-IWRC

The 6×19W-IWRC is a classic Warrington-lay, line-contact wire rope featuring an Independent Wire Rope Core (IWRC). By combining good flexibility with the high strength and crush resistance provided by the steel core, it has become a mainstay product in the lifting, mining, and general industrial sectors.

The "19W" indicates that each strand consists of 19 wires arranged in the Warrington pattern. The outer layer of wires features an alternating arrangement of thick and thin diameters. This design enhances the strand's metallic cross-sectional area and structural stability while maintaining high flexibility, enabling the rope to withstand frequent, repeated bending and delivering outstanding fatigue resistance compared to other ropes in the 6×19 series. The line-contact configuration of the internal wires ensures more uniform stress distribution, eliminates the secondary bending stresses associated with point-contact ropes, and results in a longer service life.
